Naturally minimalist

Handcrafted from Japanese cedar grown in Nikko, Tochigi, a World Heritage site, these sakazuki make for a whole new drinking experience. Using this tiny cup transfers its woody aroma to the sake, culminating in a unique new flavor. The harmonious angles are made surprisingly supple by the cedar’s natural softness. Each piece is handcrafted in Kanuma, and the design received the grand prize at the 2011 Tochigi Excellent Design award.
