Luxury for everybody

There’s a reason this is named “Brewer’s Pride.” It’s crafted under the direction of Hakutsuru’s legendary brewmaster Masao Nakazawa, who created a luxurious sake he and the other brewers could enjoy after a long day’s work. The medium body delivers a mellow expression balanced between umami and sweetness that is slightly dry. Different faces of the sake come out when served at different temperatures.

Hakutsuru Brewing Company

Hakutsuru Brewing Company was founded in 1743 in Nadagogo, an area with a Geographical Indication today. Using the blessings of the land and their exemplary pursuit of innovation, Hakutsuru has become one of the top-selling sake breweries in Japan. Whether it's doing deep research into water sources, building research facilities for proprietary yeast, or developing their own unique sake rice, this company goes above and beyond to be at the forefront of sake brewing. They’ve even expanded by becoming a major shareholder in Oregon’s craft sake brewery, SakeOne! All this makes Hakutsuru a brewery well worth checking out.
