Omachist’s dream come true

Omachi, the oldest heirloom rice strain is known for its layered, deep umami flavor. This sake represents the heart and soul of an Omachist, a cult following of Omachi sake rice lovers like no other. Muromachi Brewing Company

Founded in 1688 and in its 11th generation, Muromachi Brewing Company is the oldest sake brewery in Okayama prefecture. They dedicate their craft to the best expression of Omachi sake rice from their contract field in the town of Seto in Akaiwa City, the best place to grow this heirloom sake rice. They mill their rice in-house, and use “Omachi no Reisen,” their famed cooler well water source created in 1686. Okayama is also known for an abundance of delicious fruits and their brewery happens to be surrounded by a peach orchard.
