Foo Fighters × TATENOKAWA “Hansho” Blue
Yamagata Prefecture
Pop the midnight medicine
Sake lover Dave Grohl has teamed up with maker Tatenokawa who exclusively makes premium junmai daiginjo. To commemorate Foo Fighters’ 10th album Medicine at Midnight, “Hansho” (midnight) was brewed listening to their music while it fermented at a very low temperature in their brewery built in 1832. Blue expresses the band’s pop side by the expressive aroma and a delicate, fresh sweetness in the flavor, using local Dewasansan sake rice.
