Gekkeikan “Nigori”
Kyoto prefecture
Satisfy your cravings
Nigori is coarsely filtered sake that retains much of the rice sediment from the brewing process, establishing a milky texture and appearance. This nigori by the ultra-famous Gekkeikan features tasting notes of yogurt, banana and rice, with a subtle undercurrent of citrus. This kind of sake is ideal with fruit and desserts, or conversely, spicy dishes such as curry or fiery fried chicken.
