Seikyo “Omachi”
Hiroshima prefecture
Feel the passion
What if you could meet the brewers of the sake you drink and get to know their true heart? Seikyo Omachi was brewed with the hope that the surface of the sake waiting in a cup will reflect not only you, but the true heart of the brewers through the taste of their work. When you take a sip of Seikyo Omachi you’re presented with an inviting grapefruit-esque flavor, as if the brewers themselves were welcoming you to the wonderful world of sake.

Nakao Brewing Company
The Nakao Sake Brewery was established in 1871. It soon started using the brand name Seikyo, which means “True Mirror.” The brewery selected this name for its symbolism: the sake in the cup is like a mirror of which it is hoped that (in its taste) it truly reflects the heart of the brewer. Since then they continue in the spirit of “True heart and true intentions” of the founder and are still brewing sake with total commitment.
