Brewed with underground snowmelt water from Mount Fuji, the idea for this sake is to convey the elegance of nature. To that end, local Shizuoka prefecture sake rice and yeast are also used. This junmai daiginjo is a careful orchestration of sweetness and acidity, bursting with juicy apple and lychee. Combined with an expressive, fruity aroma and a refreshing finish, it’s sure to be an instant favorite.

The story

Born in 2024 at the foot of Mount Fuji, Gotemba Ishikawa Brewing Company is one of Japan’s newest sake breweries. Founded by a Shizuoka restaurant group, it crafts all-Gotemba sake from local Koshihikari rice and century-old snowmelt water.
