This glass is great for everyday drinking, but is also used in sake competitions and evaluations. It was created by Yanagi Design when the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association asked them to craft a stemmed glass appropriate for both cold and hot sake. The small size ensures you’ll finish your sake before it cools down or warms up too much, which changes the flavor and aroma.
