“Meikaku,” meaning “renowned crane,” takes its name from a proverb about a crane’s cry echoing from a deep ravine to the heavens — a symbol of excellence and beauty that naturally spreads far and wide. This classic Kochi-style junmai ginjo is refreshingly dry (SMV +6) with refined sharpness and gentle, rice-driven umami. Its elegant ginjo aroma and structured finish shine when chilled, especially alongside fresh sashimi.
