Only available in autumn, this iteration of Sakai Brewing Company’s “Five” line is markedly dry, yet smooth on the palate. A refreshing orange aroma accompanies a deep rice flavor. The soft umami of this once-pasteurized sake becomes rounder as it ages, so you may wait to open it until the end of the season! It’s a wonderful match with bold, savory dishes such as vegetables au gratin and mapo tofu.
