DASSAI Inc. took a gamble when it restructured to focus solely on Junmai Daiginjo sake, but the gamble paid off and brought us this delightful sake. Thanks to them you can now try high quality sake at a reasonable price. Dassai 50 holds its own even against pricier Junmai Daiginjos. With engaging flavors and easy pair-ability its no wonder that this sake is popular in Japan and the U.S. The fragrance puts a smile on your face, but the flavor will have you beaming from ear to ear. (Dassai “50” has been discontinued in 2019 and “45” is now available)

Formerly known as Asahi Shuzo Co., DASSAI Inc. is a Yamaguchi-based brewery that crafts only junmai daiginjo. Reborn from near-bankruptcy, it pairs hand-washed rice with data-driven precision, expanding from rural Japan to New York and even space.

All items shipped from our warehouse are monitored for quality. With the help of our shipping partner’s extensive network, we maintain the quality of our items as they make their way around the United States. Extra precautions may be taken for severe weather conditions. Final delivery is made via UPS or other local carriers.
