Prompted by a special request from the Umeshu Research Association, DASSAI Inc. has crafted a scrumptious Japanese plum wine using their flagship Dassai “23” sake and the highest quality Nanko ume fruit. After a period of aging, the umeshu takes on a smooth taste with a rich, silky texture. Appreciate the full-bodied, natural flavor and aroma of ripe ume with every sip of this limited release.

Formerly known as Asahi Shuzo Co., DASSAI Inc. is a Yamaguchi-based brewery that crafts only junmai daiginjo. Reborn from near-bankruptcy, it pairs hand-washed rice with data-driven precision, expanding from rural Japan to New York and even space.

All items shipped from our warehouse are monitored for quality. With the help of our shipping partner’s extensive network, we maintain the quality of our items as they make their way around the United States. Extra precautions may be taken for severe weather conditions. Final delivery is made via UPS or other local carriers.
