Rokka Brewing Company

Rokka Brewing Company was established in 1972 from the merger of three sake breweries, but its history dates back more than 300 years to the founding of the original Takashimaya Shuzo in 1719. A proud Aomori prefecture brewery, they dedicate themselves to brewing with local resources only. Wielding their “jopparai” (stubborn) spirit of uncompromising values, local rice, subsoil water from Mount Iwaki, and natural lactic acid bacteria from the Shirakami-Sanchi UNESCO World Heritage Site, they have truly developed Aomori sake terroir. Their products have received significant acclaim, including multiple awards from IWC, National New Sake Appraisal, and other prestigious competitions.
