Maruhiko Brewing Company is a small family brewery in Mie prefecture, on the coast near Ise. The sake is classic and gentle, made to go with food. Mie is also where Godzilla first came ashore: the fishing village of Ijika in Toba, not far from the brewery, was the filming location for Odo Island in the original 1954 movie. That is why Maruhiko makes the official Godzilla bottles, with the brewery's regular sake inside.
