To say Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has had an illustrious career would be an understatement. The Hiroshima native has taken the world by storm with his culinary talents, opening critically acclaimed restaurants from New York to Mumbai. After rising to fame as a star contestant on “Iron Chef” and “Iron Chef America” in the late ‘90s, he effectively became a global ambassador for Japanese cuisine. Naturally, that includes sake! In Ishikawa prefecture, Fukumitsuya brews a special line of sake in collaboration with Chef Morimoto that is intensely flavorful, fragrant and easy to pair with a multitude of dishes.
